The initiators of Baltic-Life are Anne de Boer and Bernard Lute.

As far back as 1994 Anne came, as an employee of the province overijssel, regularly in Latvia to cooperation projects in the field of rural development and set up tourism.

The most enthusiastic Latvian partner thereby is undoubtedly the director of the Tourist Information Centre in Kuldiga, Artis Gustovskis. He does everything develop tourism in its country and to promote Latvia especially in the Netherlands.

Bernard already works more than 35 years in the tourism sector and got bitten by the Latvian bug when he was working with Latvian exchange students. He has travelled and visited Latcia extensively since then
